Please allow up to 4 business days for your order to be processed and shipped out. Delivery times may be affected by recent postal service delays. We apologize for any inconvenience.

There is now a $10.00 CAD order minimum (before shipping costs). We try to carry a great selection of affordable single squishies but due to our costs with shipping orders (packaging, wrapping materials, labels, bonus extras, etc) and because we already cover a portion of the shipping charges and also pay the taxes (on both the shipping and products) instead of charging it to our customers, we had to implement an order minimum to ensure that we can continue to remain in business, as we were making no profit (or negative profit!) on these orders. Thank you for your understanding! 

Do you have a physical store we can shop at?

We are currently an online only shop based in Ontario. We don't have a physical store.


How do I see the shipping options and costs before I order?

1. Add the products to your cart.
2. Click "View Cart" or "Check Out" (in the top right corner of your screen)
3. Enter your shipping information. Don't worry -  you are not purchasing the products yet!
4. The next page is "Shipping Method" which shows your shipping options and the exact costs. 
5. From this page, you can choose to purchase the items, or you can click the SquishyShop.ca™ logo at the top of the page to return to the main website!

The shipping costs vary based on your location, the size & weight of the items you buy, and which type of service you choose. Because of this, we can't provide you with shipping estimates over email; the easiest way for you to see the prices is to use the above method :)

Taxes are already included in the shipping price.


How do I qualify for free shipping?

Within Canada

All Provinces: Shipping is free on orders where you spend $50.00 CAD and up. It will ship "Expedited Parcel" by Canada Post and will include a tracking number. Please allow 1-7 business days from shipping date for delivery (2-12 business days during the holidays**).

On orders that do not qualify for free shipping, we will still pay a portion of the postage charges as a thank you to our customers :)

To the USA

Shipping is free on orders where you spend $75.00 CAD and up. It will ship "Tracked Packet USA" (allow 2-10 business days for delivery) with Canada Post / USPS.**

On orders that do not qualify for free shipping we will still pay a portion of all postage charges. We do this as a thank you to our customers:)

**If you choose to return an order in full that you received with free shipping, we will deduct the cost we paid to ship it to you from your refund total. Read more here.

What is the free shipping minimum for orders outside of Canada / USA?

If you are planning on spending $100 CAD or more, contact us using this form and for a free shipping minimum quote. Please include the country and province/state in your message. 

Is there a maximum order amount for free shipping?

Any orders over $200.00 do not qualify for free shipping as these packages require additional shipping insurance and costs. However, your shipping rate will still be discounted from the standard Canada Post pricing. Thank you for your understanding!


Where do you ship to? Where do you ship from?

We ship worldwide! To find out how much shipping will cost you, please add the products to your cart and enter your address on the "Shipping Information" page. Read more information here.

We are based in Northern Ontario, Canada, and your package will ship from there. We never “drop-ship” and we keep all our inventory here in Sudbury. 

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, we ship to PO Boxes, but only through Canada Post.

We cannot ship to a PO Box if you are using a courier service such as UPS, FedEx, CanPar, Purolator or DHL.

With both Canada Post and courier services, we are unable to ship to APO addresses, hotels, UPS or mailbox stores, or hostels. We can only ship to home or business addresses. Thank you for your understanding.

Can I pick up my order, or can you drop it off?

Sorry, we're unable to offer order pickup or drop-offs. Deliveries can only be made through the postal service.

When will my order ship?

Orders generally ship in 3 business days or less. During holidays, or if your order contains slime, we require extra time to fulfill orders. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships out!

All orders shipping within Canada include tracking information. Certain international and US parcels do not include tracking, such as Small Packet Air or International Parcel Air. We recommend always selecting a service that includes tracking, as we cannot be responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered mail.

If you have not yet placed an order and are wondering how long it will take to receive it, please add the items to your cart and go to the checkout. It will display all of the shipping options available, as well as the delivery time frames, which vary based on the kind of shipping service you select.

Please remember these are general time frames only, not guarantees. Actual length of time for delivery can vary based on the remoteness of your location and/or due to circumstances beyond our control, such as postal strikes, inclement weather, and during peak holiday or shopping seasons such as Black Friday or Christmas. We do not guarantee specific delivery dates and are not responsible for delays by Canada Post.

We do not guarantee shipping refunds for deliveries made outside of Canada Post time frames, but please contact us if your package arrived more than 3 business days after the estimated delivery date.

How do I track my order?

When your order ships, you'll receive an email notification that includes a link to your order status page, which will show your tracking number and the latest updates.

You can also click the tracking number from the order status page to see the updates on Canada Post's website, or you can enter it manually here.

For orders shipping with a service that does not include tracking information, such as "Small Packet USA Air" or "Small Packet International Air", a confirmation number will still be provided to show that your label has been purchased and printed. The label includes a barcode which can be scanned to update this number upon confirmed delivery, however it will not provide tracking information as the package travels to its destination.

How do you determine shipping charges?

All of our shipping rates are set by Canada Post, but we then reduce those rates as a courtesy to our customers. The rate you see during checkout is the reduced rate!

How long will it take for my package to be delivered?

If you have a tracking number for your order, please enter it in the Canada Post tracking tool. This will show the most up-to-date information, and we do not have any additional details than what Canada Post tracking provides. Shipping times vary depending on your location, and delivery estimates provided by Canada Post are time frames, not guarantees.

Can I change an or add items to an order after I've placed it?

Please contact us within 1 hour of purchasing at orders@squishyshop.ca and include the order number in the subject line. If you would like to add or remove an item(s), we can accommodate this within 1 hour of your order being placed.

What happens if I put in the wrong shipping address on my order?

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the shipping information you provide to us.

If you realized you put in the wrong address, or have omitted part of it, please email us within 3 hours of your purchase at orders@squishyshop.ca and include the order number in the subject line. We're only able to change the shipping address at your request; our system doesn't allow us to make changes to billing addresses.

If the address you provided is incorrect or incomplete and the package is returned to us, we have to pay a Return-To-Sender fee before we can collect the parcel. Therefore, if you would like your order re-shipped (to the correct address) you are responsible for the cost of the new shipping label.

Alternatively, you can choose to have the cost of the products refunded to you. We cannot refund original shipping charges.

If the package does not get returned to us, we cannot issue any refunds due to customer error.

My package never arrived, can I be refunded? 

Although it's extremely rare for a tracked parcel to not be delivered, we understand that anything can happen!

As long as you entered the correct address and chose a shipping option that included a tracking number, and your parcel is showing lost or not delivered (as indicated by the tracking information), we will gladly issue a full refund for your order, including the shipping costs, as your package is insured against loss or non-delivery.

This is the only case in which we can issue a full refund - if you selected a shipping option that did not include tracking, we cannot issue refunds or be responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered mail.

What happens if the post office loses or damages my package?

Although we're not responsible for orders damaged or lost by fault of the Postal Service, if you selected a shipping option that includes a tracking number, this means your package was also sent with shipping insurance, so we may be able to issue you a full or partial refund, or replacement. Each situation varies. Please contact customerservice@squishyshop.ca.

What if I want rush shipping on an order where I qualify for free shipping?

You're responsible for emailing us at customerservice@squishyshop.ca before ordering if you require delivery before a certain date. We will help you choose the right shipping rate; you are responsible for any extra shipping fees if you are putting a rush on the order. (Eg: If you qualify for free shipping, but need your order in 3 business days, contact us before you purchase as you will have to pay the difference between the shipping cost SquishyShop.ca is covering and the Xpresspost rush shipping fee).

What kind of boxes/envelopes do you use to mail orders?

It depends on the size and weight of your order, as well as your location. Usually, orders are mailed in seal-tight bubble envelopes or small cardboard boxes. To reduce waste and stay environmentally friendly, we will re-purpose clean and sturdy cardboard boxes to ship your order. It's what inside the box that counts! :)

To save you money on shipping costs, some squishy toys may be flattened or shrink-wrapped to fit into the bubble-mailer envelope. Open the wrapping carefully; do not use scissors or sharp objects that might damage the squishy. They will return to their normal shape after you unwrap them.

Will there be duty/taxes charges for orders to the US/International?

The buyer is responsible for any customs charges. We are not responsible for shipping delays due to customs inspections.

Do you send extras? What are they?

Yes, we love sending extras and include them on every order, no matter how much you spend! :) They range from mini squishy toys to slime supplies, jewellery, kawaii accessories and more! 

We do not accept requests for specific extras.


How do I cancel an order?

By emailing us at orders@squishyshop.ca within 3 hours of placing it, we will be able to issue you a full refund.

Due to the fast order fulfillment and shipping processes that we have, we cannot cancel orders after three hours have passed. Thank you for your understanding. 


What is your return policy?

Returns are accepted within 15 days of purchase. You are responsible for return postage costs. We recommend that you ship the items back to us with tracking, as we cannot issue refunds for items that we do not receive back.  

We do not refund original shipping charges.

Returned items must be in the same condition which you received them. If you're returning all the items from your order, you also must include all bonus extras and original packaging. The cost of any excluded items will be deducted from your refund amount.

Returns are not accepted on items that have been heavily used or have been damaged through use. Squishies are toys made of soft foam material, and like anything of that nature, are prone to small rips, tears and general wear through play. However, if you feel an item was damaged or defective before it was used, we can accept those items as returns. Please contact us if you have any questions about our policies before placing your order. 

How do I make a return?

If you would like to return all or some of the items, first please email us at orders@squishyshop.ca. Do not send the items back without notifying us first!

You will have to mail the items back to us. Our address will be located on the shipping label of your package. We recommend sending the package with tracking. You have 15 days from the your order date to request a refund and to mail the items back to us. After that, the return window is closed. 

When will I get my refund?

If you have cancelled an order within the 1-hour time frame, or requested to remove an item from your order within the 1-hour time frame, we will process your return immediately and issue it to the original method of payment that you used when placing your order.

If you are returning items, you will be refunded the same day we receive the returned items and issue it to the original method of payment that you used when placing your order.

Credit Cards: The amount of time it takes for your refund to appear on your credit card depends on your bank. On average, it usually takes 2-3 business days. Please contact your bank for specific information about their return processing times. 

PayPal: If you paid with your PayPal balance, your refund should be reflected in your balance within 1 hour of being issued, if not sooner. If you paid with your credit card through PayPal, please contact PayPal or your bank for specific information about their return processing times.   

Are there any products that do not qualify for returns/refunds?

Items that were clearly stated to have defects and were reduced in price for that reason are final sale. Also, a small number of squishies state in the description that they are non-returnable. Blind bags or toys with non-resealable packaging that have been opened cannot be returned.

For hygienic reasons, we cannot accept returns on septum (nose) rings, earrings, makeup, sheet masks, skin care items, lipgloss (unless still sealed), slime, fragrance oils or activators.

An item in my order was damaged/leaked/spilled/broken. What can I do?

We package and ship all orders with the utmost care, including double-bagging certain items such as essential oils, glitter, etc. Despite our best efforts, issues may arise during the shipping process that we cannot control.

If there is a problem with your order, please email us as soon as possible at customerservice@squishyshop.ca. Include the date your package was delivered and photos of the packaging and items that were damaged. You can also include a short video showing the problem. This will help us determine how it may have happened and how we can avoid future mishaps and to ensure quality service!

We may require the damaged item(s) to be returned to us. Your refund will be issued when we receive the item(s).

It is our store policy that we cannot issue refunds or exchanges unless photos are provided of the damage. These photos not only help us to improve our packaging and shipping methods, but also help us when filing a damages claim with Canada Post, if necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

What happens if I return an entire order that I got free shipping on?

If you are returning items from an order where you qualified for free shipping, the cost we paid to ship it to you will be deducted from your refund amount. This is to avoid abuse of our free shipping policies. 

If you are only returning one or more items and the total amount of the item(s) being refunded will not drop the total you paid for your order to under the free shipping minimum of $50 CAD, nothing will be deducted from your refund amount.


Situation 1: Your order was $100 CAD. You are returning two items, totaling $25. After we refund you $25, the total you paid is now $75, so no shipping charges will be deducted from your refund.

Situation 2: Your order was $75 CAD. You're returning one $25 item. Refunding you $25 would make the total you paid $50, so your order no longer qualifies for free shipping. We will deduct the full amount of the cost we paid to ship it to you from the $25 you are being refunded.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Amex, Visa, MasterCard), PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. We do not accept cash or cheque payments, or digital currencies such as BitCoin.

Why can't I pay using PayPal eCheck?

An eCheck is a payment that is made directly from your bank account, rather than your PayPal balance or a credit card linked to your PayPal account. Just like a regular check, it usually takes between 6-8 business days to clear, which means that we would be holding stock aside without having received payment, which is against store policy. It also prevents us from fulfilling our commitment of shipping orders quickly. We thank you for your understanding.

We accept payments made with your PayPal Balance or through PayPal linked to a credit card (also called PayPal Express).


How do I use the discount code? Where do I enter it?

If you have a discount code, you can enter it during checkout. It's located in different places depending on what device you're using:


There's a pink sidebar on the right side of the checkout page. Underneath your items, there's a white discount code box. Enter your code and click "Apply".

Double-check to make sure the discount code has been applied to your final total!


On your cell or tablet, click "Show Order Summary" at the top of the checkout page, underneath our logo. A summary of your items will open in a drop-down menu.

Below your items & above your total, you'll see a box that says "Discount" where you can type in your code.

Click the "Apply" button to the right of the box and the discount name will show up below your subtotal, and your final total will be adjusted!

How do I get a discount code?

There are a few ways: if you place an order, we will sometimes include a code in our thank you card that comes with your package. Other times, we will offer codes for a flash sale or if you have purchased from the store more than once. If you would like to see if you qualify for a discount, please contact us!

Why is the discount code not working?

If you receive the message "Your cart does not meet the requirements for the ***** discount code", it could mean that code requires a minimum purchase. This is usually a small amount, from $3-$5. It could also mean the code has expired, or was good for one-time use only. Please contact us if you need more details on your code & its requirements!

Do discount codes reduce the price of shipping, too?

No, discount codes only apply to the items you are purchasing, not shipping costs.

Can I use the discount code more than once?

It will depend on the type of code you have. Most are one-time-use only and one per customer.


What is your privacy policy? Do you save my information?

Your privacy is important to us! We only collect the necessary information to ship your order. We won't contact you for any reason other than about your order, to reply to any emails or contact form submissions you send us, or to notify you if the items you left in your shopping cart qualify for one of our many discounts.

Can I write product reviews anonymously? 

When writing a product review, please enter your correct email address. It will never be published, but we often reward customers who leave reviews (positive or otherwise!) with coupons and discounts. You can choose to use a screen name to post a review instead of your first name!

Do you see my payment information? How is my payment processed?

We don't receive any payment information other than the general method used (credit card, PayPal, etc), the last 4 digits of the card, and that the payment was processed successfully. Shopify processes your payment on our behalf through their secure and encrypted systems. We are notified if there is suspicious activity or a potential fraud with the card (ie: billing address is in a different country than shipping address), and in those cases we will contact you to attempt to verify this is a legitimate purchase.

What will my email address be used for?

We only use your email to contact you about your order, to communicate with you if we have any questions, or to reply to yours, or to offer you a discount code. We do not sign you up to newsletters. We don't collect your email for mailing lists, and will never share any of your information with third parties. We hate spam, so we'd never do it to you! ☺️


Are all of your squishy toys slow rising?

No, but if they are slow rising it will say so in either the title, product description, or both. If it doesn't say that it is slow rising, then it's just a regular squishy.

What's the difference between slow rise and super slow rise?

If the product title or description has the words "slow rising" in it, it means it's a slow rising squishy with an approximately 3-5+ seconds rise. If it says "super slow rising" it means an approximately 5-10+ seconds slow rise or longer. Ultra slow rise is 15-20+ seconds. We also offer some squishies that are 60+ seconds slow rise!

If it doesn't say "slow rise" or "super slow rise" anywhere in the title or listing, that means it's just a normal squishy (it is "squishable" and very soft, but doesn't have the slow rising effect).

What does OP or OPP packaging mean?

If you see "comes with original OP/OPP packaging" in the item description, this means it will include decorative double-layer polypropylene plastic packaging. This is a thicker quality packing that usually accompanies higher quality or brand name squishies.

My squishy smells funny to me. What can I do?

Most squishy toys have light cake or sweet bread scent. Sometimes, because they have been wrapped in plastic packaging, the smell is a bit strong. Once you un-package them, it's normal for the scent to fade slightly.

Do you sell licensed or name brand squishy toys?

We now carry a small number of brand name and licensed squishies, including Sanqi Elan, Eric, iBloom, Kiibru, NoNo and Lucio Squeezies brands.

We want to offer quality squishy toys at reasonable and affordable prices, and licensed squishies are very expensive to import into Canada, but we are happy these squishies to our customers!

What is a defect?

A defect is an imperfection in the squishy that is noticeable, such as a small hole or exposed foam, or a mis-printed face. We describe any imperfections in our squishies and offer them at a discounted price.

It doesn't mean the squishy has been used (all of our products are brand-new!) or that it's in bad condition - in fact, many people wouldn't consider these small things "defects" at all, but many squishy collectors like to know the exact details of an item, so we choose to point out any imperfections :)

These imperfections are very minor and would not impact your enjoyment of the squishy-  we don't sell any squishies that have large or very noticeable defects. We believe in being open and descriptive about our products, so that you know exactly what you'll be getting!

Things like small paint marks or uneven edges are common in all squishies, no matter the manufacturer or style, therefore these are not considered defects.

We inspect each and every item before shipping, and would never send you a squishy with imperfections if you had purchased one without defects :)

Squishies with defects are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded or exchanged.

What are the squishy toys made of? Are they safe?

They are made of non-toxic polyurethane foam and poster-grade quality non-toxic fabric paint. They are free of harmful chemicals and materials. They should not be ingested or consumed by humans or animals. They should be kept away from flames and hot surfaces. 

These are not meant for children 5 and under. For children 6 and up, they still may pose a choking hazard to young children and should only be used under parental/guardian supervision. Always advise children that the squishy is NOT edible, and cannot be chewed, and is not food.

Keep away from dogs and other pets- they can NOT be used as chew toys and pose a choking hazard to pets.

Can I give these to my pets as a chew toy?

NO, NEVER. Keep out of reach of animals! The foam can expand if swallowed and pose a choking hazard.

Can these be used as bath toys/submerged in water?

No! Please do not submerge squishies in water. To clean them, wipe gently with a soft, damp washcloth and dry immediately after.

Can I give these to my young child?

These are not meant for children 5 and under. For children 6 and up, they still may pose a choking hazard to young children and should only be used under parental/guardian supervision. Always advise children that the squishy is NOT edible, and cannot be chewed, and is not food.

Why was my squishy wrapped up flat?

To save you money on shipping costs, some squishy toys may be flattened or shrink-wrapped. Open the wrapping carefully; do not use scissors or sharp objects that might damage the squishy. They will return to their normal shape after you unwrap them.

My squishy has developed rips/tears/peeling paint after use. Is this normal?

Yes, it's normal for printed-on faces, paint colour and designs of squishy toys to fade with use and after being played with, as well as for decorations such as sprinkles to fall off after consistent use. These are not manufacturers defects; it is normal wear-and-tear for all squishy toys. Due to the types of materials and paint used to make squishies, this type of wear-and-tear is normal for all squishies, regardless of the brand or make.

Certain slow-rising squishies are more delicate than others due to a softer type of foam being used in production, and these squishies can develop rips and tears if it is pulled or played with roughly. We will notify you in the description if an item is delicate. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve them.

How do I know what condition the squishy toys will be in?

By nature of their design, squishies are delicate toys, and are subject to very minor defects such as air bubbles or wrinkling due to the manufacturing process- there is no such thing as a "perfect" squishy! However, we strive to be clear in descriptions about the condition of all our items. If something has more defects than is considered normal, it will be explicitly stated in the listing, shown in the photographs and also reduced in price. These items are final sale. 

It is your responsibility to read the description thoroughly and to be aware of the condition of the item before you buy. It is normal for the colour and printed-on faces of squishy toys to fade with use and after being played with, as well as for decorations such as sprinkles to fall off or faces to peel. These are not manufacturers defects or problems specific to our squishies; it is normal wear and tear for these types of toys.

Can you send me free stuff so I can review your shop?

Sorry, we can't send out free products. But we absolutely encourage you to share reviews of your SquishyShop.ca purchases on your social media! If you use the hashtag #squishyshopca, we may even feature you on our Instagram and give you a shout out!

Due to time constraints, we can't reply to requests to send out free products. Thank you for your understanding.


Do you charge tax the items you sell?

All taxes are included in the price of the item.

Is there tax on shipping charges?

I already ordered, but a sale just started. Can I get the sale price for my order?
